Annual B17 Trip
This past week saw the return of the Collings FOundation WW2 B17 bomber (and accompanying P51 fighter and B24 bomber) to the BOca Raton airport. o what better to do on the way to office hours than stop for lunch and take a peak. I arrived about an hour before they departed. Helped turn the propellers to get fuel and oil into the engines before they left (cool). Talked to a bunch of folks and got some photos I thought I would share. I stayed while it took off. History in the air…..
